******************************************************************************************************* MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL *******************************************************************************************************
Dear MHS Families, Today people all over our community will be honoring the brave men and women who have served our country. Veterans Day is a time for us to pay our respects to those whom have served in our armed forces. We all stand united in respect for our veterans. We celebrate and honor America’s Veterans for their patriotism, their love of America, and willingness to serve and sacrifice. Since our country’s founding, more than 1 million American soldiers have given their lives in service to our nation. This morning, we took a moment of silence to honor the men and women who serve our country, who have served our country, and also those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country.
Additionally, special congratulations go to MHS Science teacher Dan Burr, who was nominated this year for the FCPS Veteran in Education Service Award. He and other FCPS veteran nominees were recognized at the FCPS Central Office this morning.
Sincerely,
Bernie Quesada Principal, Middletown High School
