Reminder: MHS 1:1 Device Program As the new semester gets underway, this is a reminder that all students must have a device which they bring to school every day. Many students are coming to school without their devices or forgetting to charge them overnight. Please remind your students to get into the habit of charging their devices and bringing them every day.
All students have the option to be issued an FCPS Chromebook. The technology fee for the Chromebook program has been reduced to $30 for the second semester. This may be paid via SchoolCash Online: https://frederickcounty.schoolcashonline.com/. This fee includes coverage for accidental damage that may occur during normal use of the device. The program and coverages are described in the documents linked below. FCPS Device User Agreement must be signed online through SchoolCashOnline.
Students may choose to bring their own device to school such as a personal Chromebook, laptop, etc. Students bringing their own device must digitally sign the Device User Agreement Form through SchoolCashOnline or turn in a signed hard copy to the media center.
Please remember that a cell phone does not meet the device requirement.

Becoming a member doesn't commit you to volunteer, but it gives you a vote and a voice in advocating for improvements for our school and Frederick County teachers! Both the membership and the Write-a-Check fundraiser provide the financial wherewithal for the PTSA to organize and implement a wide range of activities in support of the MHS experience for the students. In addition, volunteers are always welcome to help at individual events. As a friendly reminder, Seniors who wish to apply for the $500 PTSA scholarship in the Spring must be members as well.
