Message From The Principal's Desk
Dear Titan Families,
Today is report card day. Please take time to have a look at your teen's report card. High fives and congratulations are hopefully in order, or perhaps a discussion about second semester goals. I am very proud of the 842 Titans who earned 1st and 2nd Honors for the 2nd Term. It was the best part of my day to congratulate students and see the smiles on their faces. Hard work does pay off.
Likewise, it's not too early in the semester to have an early peek in Schoology at where grades stand after two full weeks. I've encouraged students to get off to a fast start, cementing good habits early in the semester. Missing work sinks grades very quickly, while consistently submitting work done well and on time is a pivotal key to success.
Early morning drop-off has seen a sizeable uptick in the number of car drop-offs, likely due to the very cold weather. I truly encourage you to leave an extra few minutes sooner to avoid the backup that seems to be occurring. As a remind, we are tracking late arrivals to school, and students who arrive unexcused will receive after school detention after their third tardy. On-time attendance truly does matter in the face to face world of instruction, and we appreciate every effort to ensure your child's success.
As I watch the snow fall, I encourage you all to have a safe and warm weekend.
With Titan Pride,
Christopher Berry
Principal

Student of the Week
Congratulations to our Week #16 Winners
Character of the Week
Diamond Moffitt-Colbert Nominated by Ms. Ellen McGuinness
Diamond is simply amazing. She has a fantastic work ethic, participates regularly, asks higher level questions, comes to Flex as needed, and is a role model for her peers. Additionally, she is an incredibly nice young lady!
Scholar of the Week
Criseli Daily Nominated by Mrs. Michael Beth Edwards
Criseli is doing well in all of her classes, I am specifically nominating her for her exemplary work in algebra. Criseli initially struggled with algebra and she tenaciously applied every skill one would want to see in a student to bring her grade up to a substantial A and to maintain it there. She is an exemplary scholar all around.
