Dear Families,
It is with a sense of wonder that I acknowledge our entrance into the final stretch of this school year. For starters, it feels odd that staff are beginning to plan the celebrations that mark the culmination of a school year. However, this year still has the surreal trappings that teaching in the midst of a new reality engendered – and it feels much longer than 9 months have elapsed. (You mean it hasn’t actually been an eternity since we returned last fall?!) Together we have accomplished so much, and there are so many causes for celebration.
Some of them include:
I have recently come to the conclusion that I will not know a “typical” year at MVM, and that is okay. Our new normal has taught me lots of new skills, and I have pivoted so many times that some days it feels like I’m going in circles. But we keep doing better and we have so much to look forward to.
When we all partner to support our school’s mission, our community is strengthened and our students benefit. This is truly where we shine. Please accept my sincere gratitude for your support of the students, the staff, and the administration.
