In recognition of the unprecedented and extraordinary commitment FCPS employees have made to ensure continuity of learning and operations during this pandemic crisis, our BOE waives 5 work days for all benefited, active employees:

FCPS Fast Fact
Instead of a Fast Fact number, we close out the school year with many questions about what public education will look like when the new school year begins. Although returning teachers are scheduled to report to work on Monday, August 24, re-opening procedures are subject to change, depending on Maryland's COVID-19 pandemic recovery stage. FCPS will keep staff informed via Outlook and Employee News emails as we know more about the next school year. We wish everyone heading into break--and those continuing to work--a safe and healthy summer.
