School attendance is important and expected! Our goal is a 96% attendance rate. We need your help to meet this goal.
If your child must be absent, you are required to send a note. Please send it with your child to give to the teacher, who will share it with the front office.
FCSP regulation 500-25 stats that if a student misses 5 unlawful absences in a in a term, they could receive a failing grade for that term. Elementary students who have been absent 27 days by the end of the third quarter may be considered for possible retention (repeating a grade level due to the missed school days). A note form a doctor, dentist, or court official, or counselor may be required for ANY student for all absences beyond 10 days.
