Front Office Hours for 2019-2020: Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Traffic Alert: We wanted to alert you to some ongoing work on the US40-Alternate (Main Street) project that will impact some of the students who walk to school each day. The State Highway Administration is still working on completing the sidewalk on the north side of Main Street east of the campus. In particular, they will be closing Martha Mason at some point to work on a junction box at that location. Parents with students living east of the campus should plan to have their children stay on the south side of US 40-Alternate and cross at Schoolhouse Drive where there is a signalized crossing and crossing guard. Students should not use Martha Mason to walk to school until notice is given that the work is complete in that area.
MHS 1:1 Device Program Every MHS student MUST have a device by Monday, September 16. Opting out of having a device (FCPS issued or personal) is not an option. A cell phone does not meet this requirement. All students have the option to be issued an FCPS Chromebook. The yearly technology fee for the Chromebook program is $60. This may be paid via the SchoolCashOnline link: https://frederickcounty.schoolcashonline.com/. This fee provides coverage for accidental damage that may occur during normal use of the device. The program and coverages are described in the documents linked below. FCPS Device User Agreement must be signed online through SchoolCashOnline.
Students may choose to bring their own device to school such as a personal Chromebook, laptop, etc. Students bringing their own device must digitally sign the Device User Agreement Form through SchoolCashOnline or turn in a signed hard copy to the media center.
