MHS French III Students Make Friends In Morocco!
Students in Mme Stutzman's French 3 class have been meeting via Zoom conference with students in Sale, Morocco this May. The conversations happen in both English and French. The Moroccan students are learning English and the MHS students are helping them practice their skills, while the Moroccans are helping MHS students discover their ability to conduct real conversations in French! Mme Stutzman met the Moroccan teacher and observed classes in her school in Sale while she was a Fulbright teacher/researcher in the spring of 2017. Students are excited about meeting kids in another country and learning about Moroccan culture while improving their own language skills. So far, they've learned that the favorite food of many Moroccan students is ---- pizza! The new friends will exchange emails and be able to continue the conversations through the summer!
