They address real problems facing the world and develop comprehensive approaches to solve them. Here are this year's representatives from MHS:
On Thursday, January 10 FCPS hosted the 29th annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, "Courage Beyond Words". MHS students Ashleigh Sullivan, Darby Dravvorn, and James Bongard were this year's presiders and are pictured below. The evening honors the life and legacy of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrates students' achievements as they relate to his ideals. This year's MHS recipient of the award was 12th grader Andrew Bizzell. In the write-up, Andrew was described as "practicing kindness every day with everyone he encounters and reaching out to support his peers". MHS is proud of Andrew and our student presiders!
