MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear MHS Families, With this year drawing to a close, we thank all who helped support our school and our students during this past year. I know that many of you will be looking forward to getting time away from the classes and the coming summer break. Thank you to all of our students who have worked so hard to finish this school year strong.
Please continue to watch in the coming weeks for announcements pertaining to the opening for next school year in August. Have a safe and happy weekend!
Sincerely, Bernie Quesada Principal Middletown High School
Students Reporting Security Concerns “See Something, Say Something” And Don’t Repost It Report it – Encourage students to report security concerns to a trusted adult (parent, school staff member, school administrator, SRO, or a local law enforcement agency). Students may also anonymously report concerns using the Safe Schools Maryland Tip Line at 833-MD-B-SAFE or their website or here. In an emergency, call 911. Additional resources can be found on each school’s website and the FCPS website.

Students may submit papers to HelpNow’s Writing Lab for expert assistance and feedback, or collaborate with peers in virtual study spaces. More information is available at the FCPL website HERE.
MHS Attendance Process For Early Dismissal To request a student’s early dismissal, please adhere to the following process:
OR
Please include the following information in emails/notes: -Student’s name -Parent/Guardian’s name & phone number -Reason for early dismissal
If at all possible, please send an email or note rather than calling the Front Office to request early dismissal. Emails and notes allow for a more efficient process with fewer classroom interruptions.
For your convenience, as long as proper documentation/communication has already been received, parents/guardians are not required to enter the school building to pick up students for early dismissal.
