Message From The Principal
Hello MHS Parents and Families,
We have had a fantastic opening to school and we thank you and your family for your help and encouragement in getting school open and starting a new year in person. It was wonderful to see and meet many of you this last week as we started school. I have enjoyed talking with you and I appreciate your support while we continue to build a new year for all of our students. Developing our children is a team effort. At MHS, you will find a caring and dedicated staff, who look forward to working with your family and celebrating this very exciting time in your son or daughter’s life. Our goal is to develop the greatness in each child that comes through our doors, so that when they graduate, they can expect to lead in any walk of life. Thank you for your continued support.

MHS Attendance: "One Call Now" Automated Text Messages Beginning Tuesday, August 24, One Call Now attendance messages will be used at MHS. The intent of the messages are to communicate with families if their child has been marked absent for 1 or more periods of the school day. This text is automated and it is possible that if a child enters school later in the day the text could occur in error. As always, please feel free to call our front office if you feel you have received a text in error or email the attendance secretary at mhs.attendance@fcps.org. This text will be sent to the parent/guardian(s) as noted in our system. If you wish to opt out of this text or any of the One Call Now calls you receive, feel free to listen to the message to the end for directions to opt out. Please know opting out will stop further communications from our school when we are using One Call Now.
