FREE MEALS -
ANNOUNCEMENTS
To-go meal service to the community at Liberty Elementary School will be discontinued after Friday April 30. Effective Wednesday May 5th, children can visit another open school site to pick up to-go meals on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am-1pm or one of the 2 community drop-off sites on Wednesdays from 11am-1pm. We will continue to offer breakfast, lunch and supper at Liberty Elementary School to students who attend school for cohort A or B on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for the remainder of the school year.
We are excited to announce that the USDA has approved FREE meals for all children 18 years old and younger!
All FCPS schools serve breakfast, lunch and supper (to-go) for FREE to all children learning in school buildings during the week.
All meals will be individually wrapped or compartmentalized.
Free breakfast and lunch meals will be available to children while they are in school on cohort A days (Mondays and Tuesdays), on cohort B days (Thursdays and Fridays) or for each day they are in school if they attend in-person learning 4 or 5 days a week. On the days when students are learning in a school building, they can also take a free to-go meal home for supper that same day.
Due to the amount of food being distributed for the remainder of the days, we encourage families who want additional meals for the days when students are not in the school building learning (virtual days at home, weekends, holidays) to pick up the additional meals at the child’s school on a day when they are learning in the building or visit one of the open community sites listed below on Wednesdays and/or Fridays from 11am-1pm to pick up the additional meals.
22 MEAL DISTRIBUTION SITES
Twenty FCPS schools listed below will distribute to-go breakfast, lunch and supper meals for FREE from 11am-1pm on Wednesdays and Fridays to ALL children in the community on days when they are not physically in a school building learning.
