PACK PRIDE BY Lauren M., Ms. Grady’s 4th Grade Class "Colonial Maps” When we were learning about area and perimeter in math, our class made a colonial map. I liked it because it showed what it was like back in the old days. For the colonial village, we drew a village that had wigwams, gardens, houses, and a church. Each of these structures had to have a specific area and perimeter. I would like to live back then because you would have lots of neighbors and more friends to talk to. I liked working with Danny. It was really fun doing that project.
PACK PRIDE BY Melissa T., Ms. Preston’s 2nd Grade Class "Breadmake” Bread baking was fun because we used lots of ingredients like yeast, flour, oil and water. We mixed the dough like a snowball, then flattened and punched it. We fit it in the bread pan and then waited for it to get ready. We made butter too, by shaking it really really hard. We opened it up and there was smooshy butter. We took our bread and butter home. If you don’t want to eat it, you could crumple it up for the birds. I have a birdhouse that I put cotton in to keep the birds warm and to help them survive.
