Keeping You Informed--School News
Report Cards This is a reminder that report cards were distributed today during Flex. Ask your child to see their report card to confirm final grades, check overall GPA and eligibility, as well as set goals for the upcoming term. Spring 2018 HSA, PARCC, and MISA Testing Dates Please bring a sharpened #2 pencil and your earbuds to all tests listed below. Also, for the Algebra tests please remember to bring a calculator. May 7 - Government HSA Re-Take May 14, 15 - Algebra 2 PARCC May 17, 18, 22 - English 10 PARCC May 23, 24, 25 - Algebra 1 PARCC May 31 - June 1 - MISA June 4, 5, 6 - Government HSA National English Honor Society Fundraiser Ballenger Creek Elementary(BCES) has approached our National English Honor Society (NEHS) to help them get books into the hands of their neediest students for the summer. BCES is asking NEHS to hold a book drive. They are hoping that if 1500 Tuscarora students do some spring cleaning and clean out their book shelves they may find some gently used elementary books that we can give to BCES. Students can also purchase elementary books from Wonder Book or Barnes and Noble. New books are appreciated of course. We need a variety of book levels from preschool picture books up to 5th grade chapter books. BCES teachers will then use the books this summer and visit their neediest families to deliver the gift of books. BCES will organize and deliver the books. On May 21st the winning first block class that collected the most books will be announced and on May 22nd NEHS will provide a donut party for the 1st block class.
