From Mr. Berry's Desk
In the midst of the tragedy that struck our immediate community this week, it is good to know that this is not all that defines us. Here are just a few of the ways that I am very proud of the service, achievement, and creativity of our students just this week:
While the challenging events of our lives seem to be ever-present, it is important to remember that there is far more RIGHT and GOOD going on in our world than not. Our students rise to the occasion and make us proud every day.
A reminder that I will be hosting “A Chat with the Principal” in the Media Center, next Monday from 6:00-7:00pm. The agenda is an informal discussion/give and take about what is on your mind about Tuscarora, our programs, our community and what you would like to see. If you’re coming to the Winter Athletic Night, come a little early and just listen in, or ask a question that’s been on your mind. No need to arrive exactly at 6. Come whenever you can before 7:00, even if it’s only for a few minutes. Christopher Berry Principal

Keeping You Informed - School News
Attention Tuscarora Families
Come out and join us for our first ever THS Assessment and College & Career Readiness Community Night! This event will be held Tuesday November 14th from 7 - 8 PM in the auditorium. Our Testing Coordinator and CCR Teacher will go over everything you should know about the assessments students take while in high school, and the various programs in place to help your child be both successful while in school and after graduation. They will review the current, yet always changing, required assessments for graduation, and discuss College & Career Readiness and the opportunities available for our students. While we understand testing is often a concern in education, we invite you to come and hear directly from the school so you can be as informed as possible. Hope to see you there!
