Message From The Principal's Desk
Dear Titan Families,
This week marks the midterm point of the term is here! Have you checked Schoology recently? It's an excellent time to take stock of where your child's grade's stand, and where they can make improvements. Paper interim progress reports will be mailed only to those students who currently have a D or an F in any 1st Semester class. Please have a careful look.
Please remember also that we have after school tutoring, and the live 24/7 tutoring service know as Tutor Me. Many students have remarked how easy to use and amazingly helpful the Tutor Me site really is. Please consider having you child give it a try, especially for written assignments using The Writing Lab feature.
The entire Titan Nation is filled with pride this week with the announcement that Tuscarora Alumnus Jordan Addison '20, who attends Pitt University and plays on their Division 1 football team, was named the Fred Biletnikoff Award winner as the top receiver in college football. The rest of the country now knows what Titans have know for a while - that Jordan was an excellent student, and motivated by a strong work ethic, character and excellence on and off the field. Here's a great article in the Frederick News Post today about Jordan.
With Titan Pride,
Christopher Berry
Principal
