Message From The Principal's Desk
Dear Titan Families,
The final few days are ticking down, and we are completing end of year activities before we send students into the summer to enjoy some time away from their their computer screens. As we have come to know over the past fifteen months, we will do a curbside collection of school resources next Wednesday during normal school hours from 7:30am-3:30 pm. These items include textbooks, novels and other materials that belong to the school. Many hybrid students have already returned their materials today (Cohort B), and others will return their materials on Monday (Cohort A). Wednesday is the day for full virtual students to return their materials curbside and avoid a financial obligation. As a reminder, all returning (Grades 9-11) Tuscarora students will keep their chromebooks over the summer. Please see the other directions below in School News and we will see many of you on the student parking lot/main office side on Tuesday.
In addition to the return of materials, next week will also be the day to pick up your yearbook if you ordered on for this year, and were not able to make it into school to get it. I am especially proud of this year's Remember the Titans staff and their advisor, Mr. Hartman, who persevered through very tall odds to produce a yearbook that captured this most unusual year. The book reflects the challenges of life at Tuscarora High School, and also features pages on how we did school during the pandemic. If you are interested, there are a limited number of books for purchase on Tuesday-Thursday, including at the curbside pickup on Wednesday. See details below.
Have a great spring weekend, Tuscarora. Only four days remain!
With Titan Pride,
Christopher Berry
Principal

In addition, THS will have two days for students and/or parents to come to THS during normal school hours (7:30-2:30) to pick up a pre-ordered book or to purchase a book if one was not pre-ordered. Students or parents may come into the THS building (masks and social distancing will be enforced) to pick up a book or purchase one. The dates for these pickups are as follows: Tuesday, June 15th and Thursday June 17th.
Finally, on Wednesday, June 16th from 7:30am - 3:30pm, students and/or parents may pick up a pre-ordered book or purchase one of our extras during the curbside school material return process.
We have extra books available for purchase for students and/or parents who did not pre-order. These books will be sold first come first served starting on Tuesday June 15th. We can not take 'pre-orders' or 'reserve' copies at this point in time, the books will be sold first-come, first-served until all are gone. Google Drive
The site below details how to “take your Google Drive files with you” when you graduate from or otherwise leave FCPS. Google does not allow you to transfer ownership of documents across domains (from an FCPS Google account to a personal Google account), so files must be downloaded to save them out of your FCPS Google Drive. Use one of the two methods below to download your files. Please do this before the school year ends forstudents.
