Message From The Principal's Desk
Dear Titan Families,
What a day! When you've been doing this as long as I have, you get to the point where "firsts" are few and far between. But I have to say that today's on-site, outdoor graduation was a wonderful adventure that came together in a what seemed like a nearly flawless fashion. The big puffy clouds rolled in right on que. The speeches were on point, and the music was outstanding (loved the Titan Band, the Concert Choir and Allison and Kailyn's take on Taylor Swift). But there is nothing more meaningful than the smile and look of excitement when a graduate crosses the stage and we hand them a diploma. The magic of that moment just can't be overstated.
"It takes a village" just doesn't seem to cover what the Tuscarora Staff accomplished collectively today. We literally had to throw out the graduation playbook and start from scratch in making this event happen. Carrie Palmer, Judi Jorgensen and Aaron Miles literally made this event come alive. Our talented performing arts program made our event ever-classy. The ticket takers, the ushers, the parking attendants, the row leaders - all Tuscarora staff. Whether it was straightening rows, moving plywood, lining up graduates, fixing caps or a thousand other details, I could not be more proud of this dedicated staff.
So celebrate, Tuscarora! This is a day of achievement, this is a day of "way to go!", this is a day for high-fives, special moments with those we love, and recalling what a quick journey it truly is from pre-school to graduation. Congratulations, Class of 2021! You are now and ever Titans!

The site below details how to “take your Google Drive files with you” when you graduate from or otherwise leave FCPS. Google does not allow you to transfer ownership of documents across domains (from an FCPS Google account to a personal Google account), so files must be downloaded to save them out of your FCPS Google Drive. Use one of the two methods below to download your files. Please do this before the school year ends forstudents.
