Message From The Principal's Desk
Dear Tuscarora Titan Families,
It is hard to believe that we will welcome back students in larger numbers at Tuscarora High School next week. As I told 9th grade students this week during our orientation, it is not natural that our building has been silent for 11 months. While we know there may be some challenges and unanticipated issues, our staff has taken great care to have students remain safe and healthy to the greatest degree possible. For all returning students and families we provide these final reminders:
Undoubtedly there will be plans that we will need to tweak based on the first few days. Please watch you email carefully for daily Find Out First messages with additional details or adjustments we make.
If you would like a more comprehensive overview of hybrid instruction and the plans we have put in place, I would encourage you to watch this 14 minute screencast we prepared for all families. It is an excellent source of information: https://youtu.be/rGULv0_7yiw
I believe we are a mix of anxious and excited as we prepare for this opening next week. Please continue to reach out to us if you have questions that would help you better understand our Hybrid Learning Process.
With Titan Pride,
Christopher Berry, Principal

Keeping You Informed - School News
FCPS Makes Change to Virtual Snow Day Schedule for HS Students
In the event of inclement weather, FCPS may call for a virtual learning day where all students will access learning from home. Students at all levels (i.e., elementary, middle, and high) will follow that day's regular class schedule (i.e. If the virtual snow day is on a Tuesday, students will follow their normal Tuesday class schedule). This is a departure from the schedule followed this past Thursday, when the Wednesday virtual schedule was followed. Whatever ever day a Virtual Snow Day is called, the normal schedule for that day will be followed.

FCPS Releases Bus Transportation Information for Hybrid Model
Tuscarora High School students who have selected the hybrid model of instruction are scheduled to begin in-person classes on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. If you have any questions about bus transportation information, please call Tuscarora High School at 240-236-6400.

Attention Students and Parents!
The THS yearbook needs your help! Thank you to all the parents and students who have responded to our requests for pictures and stories to include in this year's book! But, the year keeps going and we have a lot of pages to fill, so we are going to have to continue to respectfully ask that you consider getting involved and help us to tell YOUR story this year.
Please take a moment to look at the Link Tree account we have set up for the yearbook topics this year. We are updating topics each week and the links on our link tree open up google forms that you can use to send us pictures (cell phone pics are fine) and maybe a brief write-up about the pics you submit.
Thank you from Mr. Hartman and the Remember the Titans Yearbook Staff.
