Testing - English 10 PARCC testing will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, January 9, 10 & 11. Government HSA testing will be held January 14, 16 & 18. MISA testing will be held January 15, 17 & 22.
FFA Butchering will be held on February 8, 2019. Orders must be placed by January 18, 2019. You may pick up a form from any FFA member or email Mrs. Poffenberger for one at amy.poffenberger@fcps.org. To view and/or print your own form click here: FFA Butchering
California Wildfire Supply Drive - The FFA Chapter is hosting a wildfire drive to help those who lost everything in the wildfires in California. The chapter is looking for toiletries type items to donate to families. Items may include comb/brush, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouth wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc..The boxes are located in Mrs. Poffenberger’s room and In the main lobby. The collection will be continue through January 25, 2019.
Polar Plunge - Are you ready to jump in the Chesapeake Bay? On January 24th we will be taking a day trip to Bay to support the Maryland Special Olympics with The Polar Plunge. It will be an amazing day, see Coach Franklin soon to reserve your spot.
50th Anniversary Talent Show - Do you have a talent to show off? Auditions for Catoctin’s 50th Anniversary Talent Show will be held on Tuesday, January 22 and Thursday, January 24 after school in the auditorium. Auditions are open to both students and staff! Sign up for an audition spot with Mr. Felmet in room 300 or Mrs. Felmet in the media center. The Talent Show will be held on Wednesday, February 13 and prizes will be awarded in multiple categories such as Best Group and Crowd Favorite.
Class Registration Night for the 2019-20 School Year - Parents and students of current 9th, 10th, 11th graders are invited to registration night at Catoctin High school on Wednesday, January 30 at 6:00 pm. Counselors will present important information including graduation and testing requirements. Students who wish to complete their registration during the evening session, must bring a parent/guardian with them. Students are asked to bring a chrome book.
