Students Changing Residences: Moving within our attendance area: If the student's residence changes within our attendance area, please bring a copy of one of the following to our Counseling Office 1) current utility bill; 2) tax bill; 3) lease. Moving outside of our attendance area: If the student's residence changes somewhere outside of our school boundaries, please contact the Counseling Office immediately so that we can help ensure proper transfer procedures are followed. Family living with a relative or friend: If parent and student live with someone else-the owner/lessee of home needs to provide a proof of residence and parent/guardian must obtain a FCPS Multi-Family form and have it notarized verifying that the student resides at that address.
Out of District Changes:
FCPS is improving procedures to better serve students whose families seek to enroll them in a school that is out of the attendance area where they live. To ensure that parents, teachers and administrators are working together to discuss and meet student needs, the new procedures require parents or guardians to re-apply annually for renewed permission to enroll a child in an out-of-district school, not just to apply when the student transitions from pre-k to elementary, elementary to middle or middle to high school.
Out-of-district Applications are due prior May 1st.
Registration forms:
All Registration forms have been given out to students.
Current 6th and 7th grade registration forms were Due: Friday, January 27th. If you have not turned it in, please do so.
Current 8th grade registration forms have been given out. Registration forms are due back: Friday, February 10th to the counseling office.

We are already half way through the school year! Students are doing an excellent job and the majority are showing growth. Since we are half way through the year, now would be a good time to make sure your students have enough supplies. Mid-year is a good time to restock pencils and paper. Also make sure your child’s teachers have updated email address and phone numbers, especially if you are new to our school. Thank you for your continued support at home with making sure assignments are being completed and students are prepared for assessments. The hard work and effort is paying off!
