Every Friday, and sometimes other days as well, we have our School Spirit Days in which a theme is presented. For the month of October we have: Tuesday, October 4 – National Stomp Out Bullying Day – Wear your blue or bully prevention t-shirt; October 7 – Breast Cancer Awareness Month – Wear pink; October 14 – Bully Prevention Month – Wear blue or your bully prevention t-shirt; October 20 – PINK OUT – Wear pink to support breast cancer awareness month; and October 28 – Pancreatic Cancer Awareness – Wear Purple.
On the Mark is an after school clubhouse located at the Frederick County Health Department for youth ages 12-17. We offer homework help, discussions, and fun activities for the members Monday-Saturday. Please contact Lindsay at 301-600-1122 for more information. Its not too late to sign up for the Color Run and Family Fun Day this weekend. There will be a Color Run, Vendors, Moon Bounce and tons of fun. You can run or walk through the color stations or you can avoid the color stations although. The event begins at 9 am til 12 noon. Registration is $10 which includes a Monocacy United t-shirt. Buffalo Wild Wings (210 Shorebird Street) will host a fundraiser for MoMS on Wednesday, October 26 from 6 pm-8pm. A coupon is attached that needs to be presented when paying for food. They will donate 15% of all pre-taxed food sales.

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then please encourage your child to sign up for Homework Club! Homework Club is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 until 4:15 pm.
