News from our Admin Team
Dear students and families,
We are extremely excited to welcome you to the 2022-23 school year! This summer has felt shorter than normal, but we hope you have found some time to relax and enjoy some fun with family and friends. Our school staff have been working hard to get ready for you!
Each year is a new beginning for students and staff, and we hope you share our excitement in taking the next step in the learning journey with your child. Some key points we want to focus on for this year are;
Maintaining a safe and comfortable learning environment
Building meaningful relationships
Demonstrating great character and showing patience and respect for others
Setting high expectations for learning, effort, and risk-taking
Increasing family involvement opportunities
Clear communication between home and school
We can’t wait to get the year started! Together, we can make this a special year for our Roos!
Thank you in advance for your continued support and patience as we settle into routines and expectations, especially during the first few weeks of school.
With Roo Pride,
Mr. Bowser - Principal
Mrs. Copen - Assistant Principal

Class Lists for 2022 - 2023
Incoming Kindergarten students will receive a teacher assignment letter via email no later than August 8th. The letter will include teacher assignment, staggered start date information and other important information for your kindergarten child.
For rising first through fifth grade students, teacher assignment letters will NOT be mailed. Families will receive teacher assignment information through a Schoology email (The email will most likely be from no-reply@fcps.org). On August 4, systemic emails will be sent to primary and secondary guardians with the student schedules included and your child's Homeroom Teacher. On August 8, Schoology courses will be visible to students and parents. Teacher assignments/names will be on each Schoology course. You will receive an email with an attached letter from Spring Ridge early next week with more information.
