From Principal Doll We have had two accidents at our main entrance this week during our arrival period. It is fortunate that no one was injured. There are many new and fairly new drivers coming to school at the same time you are, but please note that neither of these accidents is attributable to young driver error. In both incidents, someone turning left out of our main entrance collided with someone traveling straight on Old Annapolis Road. This type of incident can be avoided if you follow the signs on campus; after you drop off students in the morning, please exit to the right at the first stop sign at the end of the school building. Also, I discourage you from cutting through the parking lot to drop off students; instead, circle the perimeter of the parking lot. The best time to arrive is 7:10-7:15. I want everyone to arrive safely and yes, at times, we all have to practice a little patience.
If you have an opportunity, take time to read The Lance, our student newspaper. You can find it online from our website. The students do a great job!
Good luck to our Winter Sports and Academic Teams!
