Seniors: It is not too late to make a college decision. Some colleges still have opening for incoming freshmen for Fall 2018 classes. Virginia Wesleyan University sent the following message this week: Graduating seniors who haven't made a final college decision should take a look at us. VWU features faculty who are committed to teaching, offers numerous opportunities for undergraduate research, internships, and part-time employment in a major metropolitan area, and is located only minutes from the beach. Our application is free and only requires an official high school transcript and test score for an admission decision. Financial aid and housing for freshmen are still available. And Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston sent this message: If you have a high school senior who has not yet made the choice of a college to attend in the Fall, and who has not already applied to Wentworth, please let the student know we practice rolling admissions and majors remain open for Fall 2018. Also, merit scholarships are awarded to all accepted students at Wentworth. The students can apply at www.wit.edu/apply.
