Chromebook Inspection and Re-issue for Summer
LHS Students will need to bring their fully charged Chromebook to the media center beginning Monday, June 3 - Wed. June 5th to be checked for functionality and reissued to students to take home for the summer.
If there are any mechanical problems with the devices, they will be resolved during the inspection. Please bring only the Chromebook for inspection, there is no need to bring the case or power block to the inspection.
As required by law, FCPS issued student Chromebooks will continue to have a restrictive internet content filter applied to them throughout the summer. Students will still be able to access FCPS approved educational programs. If a student has an issue with a Chromebook over the summer, the issue will need to be reported to the school's User Support Specialist at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year.
Any LHS family who will be unable to maintain their child's device over the summer or who knows they will be withdrawing from FCPS should contact the User Support Specialist
Conor.Nolan@fcps.org
to coordinate a plan for Chromebook collection.
