Important AP Exam Information - Spring 2024 (Reminders Update)
This message is for students taking an AP exam (May 2024) and their parents.
General Information:
AP exams are scheduled from May 6-17 with a few students approved to take late exams on May 22 and May 23.
AP exams will be administered at either Frederick High School or at Trinity United Methodist Church (703 West Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701).
Morning Exams: Students taking a morning exam should report to their testing location by 7:30 am.
Afternoon Exams: Students taking an afternoon exam should report to their testing location by 11:30 am.
If taking a morning and afternoon exam on the same day, students should report to the afternoon exam immediately following dismissal from the morning exam (it could be a little later than 11:30 am). These students should pack a lunch and will be given time to eat their lunch in between exams.
Many afternoon exams extend beyond the normal school day so students will need to provide their own transportation home.
Fees: If a student does not show up for their AP exam, they will be charged a $40 fee which will become an FHS obligation if not paid.
Important: Please click the link below to review information about the AP exam schedule, testing times and locations, transportation, exam day preparation, and score reports:
