Dear Parents of MHS Seniors,
Frederick County Public Schools and Middletown High School are excited to celebrate the Class of 2021. We recognize our Seniors have not had an opportunity to come together since March 13, 2020, so we are thrilled to have one special day to bring all of our Seniors back together. On Tuesday, June, 1st, we will welcome all MHS seniors back to the campus to spend time with their fellow seniors, say goodbye to their teachers, and take part in some special activities we have planned after the scheduled graduation practice that morning. All seniors are invited to stay for lunch provided by the school.
Graduation for the Class of 2021 will be held at 10:00 AM, June 2, 2021 at the Middletown High School stadium. All seniors who successfully complete their graduation requirements will be eligible to receive a Maryland Diploma. Participation in graduation ceremonies is a special honor and privilege reserved for those students who meet all academic standards and preparation expectations. Students who do not meet all graduation requirements do not participate (walk) in the graduation ceremony. Additionally, seniors need to be in good disciplinary standing to be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony. This is determined at the discretion of the school administration. This is an exciting but busy time that needs planning on all our parts. Additional descriptions follow:
A few additional reminders for May:
We look forward to having the Class of 2021 in person on our campus again as we lead up to a beautiful graduation ceremony in our stadium on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021.
