Need something to do during winter break? How about taking a lighthearted look back and sharing what makes your family and/or friendship special? The PTSA’s Recreate a Family/Friend Photo Project is a way to do just that, while sharing some laughs with the people who are most important in our lives.
The PTSA was awarded the Debbie Bostian Family and Community Involvement Grant, which promotes the essential role of families and the community in every student’s education. This grant gives us the opportunity to celebrate the importance and uniqueness of each OMS family/friendship while having some fun together!
To participate, find an old family/friend photo and ‘recreate’ it as best you can. Submission can be in the form of a new photo or a short video of the recreation process. (If you aren’t sure what we’re talking about, see the example attached.) Be creative, be silly, and make it fun! Submit the file, along with a short explanation of how your family or friendship is special or different, using THIS FORM. Submissions are due by Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
Forty participants (chosen by lottery if there are more than 40 entrants) will win a $10 Amazon gift card!* Every participant will be featured in a slide show that will be shared with our school community via OMS Find Out First.
Questions? Please ask Susan at oakdalemsptsa@gmail.com
Thank you in advance for participating - we’re looking forward to seeing your recreations!
