Incoming FCPS Superintendent Dr. Cheryl L. Dyson is looking forward to meeting community members at a series of informal meet-and-greet gatherings this summer.
Dr. Dyson officially takes over as FCPS superintendent July 1. This summer, she will hold five listening sessions throughout the community. Here is information for the remaining events:
The “Meet and Greets” are intended to be opportunities for the entire FCPS community to get to know Dr. Dyson and share their experiences ahead of the 2022-2023 school year. Dr. Dyson wants to hear from students too! Each location will have activities for children.

In inclement weather the events will be moved to the gym or cafeteria.
Dr. Dyson is wrapping up her current position where she serves as an area associate superintendent for Montgomery County Public Schools. Dr. Dyson oversees 70 schools ranging from elementary to high school, inclusive of dedicated special education and career and technology programs with a combined enrollment of 53,000 students.
