Essential Functions:
Twilight teachers are responsible for providing instructional strategies that ensure student success in heterogeneous groupings with class size ranging between four and ten students. The role of the teacher is to ensure that all students have equal instructional opportunities in an inviting classroom environment. Time management is mandatory to make certain students are mastering the learning goals of the FCPS Essential Curriculum for each subject. Teachers are required to utilize a behavioral management system in providing consistent and effective classroom management.
Course offerings are based on rolling enrollment needs. Teachers will serve as teachers of record for the courses they teach. The courses offered follow a blended model where students participate in face to face instruction and complete homework assignments on paper or through Schoology.
Salary: Per diem hourly rate. (2.5 hours each evening)
