CTC Attendance
Dear Parents:
We hope that you are having a nice summer and preparing for a great school year! As you know, the Career and Technology Center is unique because our students are coming to us from all ten Frederick County high schools. Our students typically spend two blocks of their school day at their home high school and attend CTC for the other two blocks.
Parents of high school students have been accustomed to sending notes after an absence from school as their children have moved through the elementary and middle school years.
CTC parents and students have one additional step: Communicate with CTC as well in order to guarantee that student absences are recorded properly as excused/lawful absences.

High school students have busy schedules! Keep us in the loop regarding ALL of the following that might keep your student from attending CTC at certain times during the upcoming school year:
Parents, we appreciate your help! Attendance at school is important and our goal is to maintain accurate attendance records for all of our students. We strive to continue to meet the Maryland School Performance Rating of Excellent (96% or higher).
Thank you!
