It’s NOT Too Late!!!!
We would love to have your student join us and their classmates in the band and orchestra this year, but you must act NOW!!! Please discuss and share this information with your student tonight. (This program is offered to 4th and 5th grade students for the 20/21 school year.)
Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2020/21 school year. While it will look different than in years past, the instrumental program will be up and running very soon. We’d like to invite your son/daughter to be a part of the program, and are looking forward to another great group of musicians this year.
We are excited about the new method book and the interactive function built into it. Feel free to check it out. The new book is called Essential Elements Interactive, by Hal Leonard Publishing. There are plenty of tutorials at https://www.eeiblog.com/eei-tutorials that demonstrate its ease of use and level of efficiency which you can view at your leisure. Once you enroll your child in the instrumental program, we will get back to you to let you know when it’s time to enroll them into the interactive site, and offer further instructions with regard to making sure your son/daughter is ready for the first day of instruction.

FYI: We supply school baritones if your child chooses to play this instrument. We also offer the free use of county owned instruments to those students who qualify for free and reduced meals. If you choose to take advantage of this program, please email both of us at: barrett.irons@fcps.org / william.nigh@fcps.org. Supply is limited, so instruments will be provided on a “First come, first serve” basis. We do not supply books or materials.
Thank you.
