Lincoln Families,
As a follow up to the systemic notification that was sent by FCPS, we are aware of the solar eclipse happening on Monday, April 8th. Our friends at the Earth Space Science Lab (ESSL) are planning a viewing event during which they anticipate a large crowd. Because the time of "maximum coverage" is at 3:20pm, we anticipate delays with car line dismissal. Our school resource officer, Sgt. Carrado, will be on site to help with any traffic concerns. However, we are asking for your patience that afternoon to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Additionally, we were able to use Community School funds to purchase 700 solar eclipse glasses! Every student will be sent home with a pair.

Finally, as a reminder, spring break starts tomorrow, Friday, March 29th. We will see everyone back for school on Monday, April 8th. Enjoy the break and much Lincoln Love!
