SAT School Day March 6
Parents of 11th Graders:
Save the Date for SAT School Day Wednesday, March 6, 2019
FCPS no longer administers English 11 or Algebra II PARCC exams to students to meet the College and Career Readiness (CCR) requirements set forth in the CCR Completion Act of 2013.
To reduce testing time and increase educational equity and opportunity, all FCPS 11th grade students will participate in a FREE administration of the SAT in school on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
SAT Pre-Administration begins for ALL 11th graders on February 27 – March 1, 2019.
What is SAT "pre-administration"? Pre-administration is a term coined by the College Board to describe the paperwork that students are required to complete when taking an SAT exam. During a pre-administration session, students complete identifying information on the answer sheet they'll use during the exam.
In addition to providing basic information like their names, address, and school, students are asked to complete a brief survey and list the colleges that should receive their exam scores. *Students should come to the sessions with the names of up to 4 colleges they would like to include on the report.
Students will complete this activity during SET time on February 27 (Last Name A-L), February 28 (Last Name M-Z), or March 1 (CTC – Morning Students).
The School Day SAT takes place on March 6 at 7:30. If you have questions regarding the SAT school day, please contact Assistant Principal Daniel Grimm, OHS SAT Test Coordinator at Daniel.grimm@fcps.org.
