OHS 1:1 Chromebook Program
If your student has not already turned in their forms and made payment or signed the waiver for the OHS 1:1 Chromebook Program, please do so by Tuesday, September 18. After this date, students will no longer be able to check out a Chromebook from the Media Center for daily use. Remember, students may choose to bring their own device to school such as a personal Chromebook, laptop, IPad, etc. The BYOD form is required if a student is chosing this option. A cell phone does not meet this requirement.
Fees and Forms for the 1:1 Chromebook Program
The yearly technology fee for the Chromebook program is $60. This may be paid by check or cash at Oakdale High School or via the school cash online link: https://frederickcounty.schoolcashonline.com/ This fee provides coverage for accidental damage that may occur during normal use of the device. If you do not wish to pay the $60 technology fee, you may waive this fee and choose to assume all liability for the repair of the device should damage occur. The program and coverages are described in the documents linked below.
