Our home athletic season is upon us and for the first time in 18 months, games are fully open to spectators. We hope to see you all in the coming weeks and expect large crowds to come out and cheer our Bears on beginning this Friday for the opening home football game (6:30pm). Please take note of the following guidelines when attending events at OHS:
Admission to events is $2 for students and $6 for adults.
Individual game tickets are available for online purchase at: spicket.events/oakdale
Annual and season passes are available for online purchase at: spicket.events/oakdale
Individual game tickets will also be available at the gate
2021-22 OHS issued season passes, MPSSAA passes, and FCPS identification badges are the only forms of passes accepted. Fans over the age of 60 are given free entry to all FCPS athletic contests.
Gates open 1 hour prior to home varsity football games and 30 minutes prior to all other contests.
Ticket gate locations for events are as follows:
Field Hockey, Football, & Soccer - Main Stadium Entryway
Volleyball - Gymnasium Hallway Entry (this is a change from the front office entry)
The following items are prohibited from being brought into the stadium or gymnasium
Backpacks
Athletic Equipment
Food & Beverages
Skateboards & Bicycles
Pets
Spectator Locations
For Football games, both the home and visitor stands will be open (Oakdale spectators are expected to sit in the home bleachers)
For Field Hockey and Soccer games, all spectators must sit in the home bleachers
For Volleyball, all spectators must sit in the bleachers opposite of the team benches
Parking in non-marked spaces such as sidewalks, grassy areas or any other area not designated for vehicle parking is prohibited and may result in the vehicle being towed.
Re-entry is not permissible. If you leave the stadium you will not be permitted back into the game.
Spectator behavior is expected to be one that is respectful of the student-athletes, officials, staff, and other spectators. Good Sportsmanship is an expectation. Behavior not in line with these expectations may result in removal from the venue.
Please Note the following Face Covering Protocols while at FCPS Athletic events.
*Rules apply to FCPS teams competing inside and outside of Frederick County. Non-FCPS visiting teams must also comply with these rules. When traveling out-of-county, FCPS teams must follow guidelines of the visiting county of the restrcitons are more strgnent then those in FCPS.
Indoors: All student-athletes, coaches, officials, game management staff and spectators will wear face coverings. The exceptions include student-athletes actively participating in athletic contests, athletic practices, organized training activities (OTAs), and weight training exercises - face coverings are optional during these activities. Face coverings must be worn on the sidelines/bench and in locker rooms at all times. Officials may remove face coverings when competitions begin.
Outdoors: All student-athletes, coaches, officials, game management staff and spectators are recommended to wear face coverings when physical distancing cannot be maintained. The exceptions include student-athletes actively participating in athletic contests, athletic practices, and organized training activities (OTAs). Officials may also remove face coverings when competitions begin. All individuals are encouraged to wear face coverings in any setting whenever they would feel more safe.
