Please plan to come pick up your scholars materials per the information below. You'll not only receive your child's leftover school supplies, but we've also bagged up your child's artwork, class picture (if purchased) and other items provided by the teacher.
Thank you for helping to clear out these items from CES!
Schedule:
Tuesday, June 9th: 8-10am and 2:30-4:30pm Grade 2 and Grade 3 Pick up
Wednesday, June 10th: 8-10am and 2:30-4:30pm Grade 4 and Grade 5 Pick up
NOTE: *If you have children in multiple grades, we will do our best to get you the siblings items for one convenient pick up. Please select pick up dates/times associated with your youngest scholar. For example: If you have a K student and a 4th grade student, arrive during a K pick up time. We will have the 4th grade scholar’s items ready to be picked up with the K scholar’s items.
Pick up is for your child(ren) only; picking up for friends and neighbors will delay the process. We will have details later about what you can do if you are unable to pick up materials next week.
Location:
Arrive at the car rider loop during your designated time. Staff will be available to assist. Please have your child’s first name, last name, and homeroom teacher name written on paper to be placed in your passenger side dash.
When you arrive:
*You’ll be stopped at station #1 (near the start of the sidewalk) to show your child’s name card. At this station you can drop off any items that belong to CES (teacher items, library books, etc). Please have these items pre-bagged and labeled with your child’s name and teacher. DO NOT get out of your vehicle. If you have these items in the trunk of your car, staff will happily get them out for you.
*At station #2 (near the end of the sidewalk) you’ll be able to pick up your child’s pre-bagged items. Again, DO NOT get out of your vehicle. Open your trunk (if applicable) and a staff member will place the items in your car.
Important Guidelines to Follow:
*In the event of inclement weather, the pace of the line may be slower than expected. We thank you for your patience.
*Do not walk to the school. All curbside pickup must be from your vehicle. If you have transportation concerns please contact our school counselor, April Miller at april.miller@fcps.org.
*Staff cannot be social at this time and must follow social distancing. We will appreciate waves from your vehicle.
*DO NOT get out of your vehicle.
