In an effort to provide flexibility for families during Virtual Learning, teachers will begin providing recordings of instruction to families. Some of the recordings may occur during Google Meet sessions.
Please review the document entitled Frederick County Public Schools Guide to Google Meet Recordings, Student Privacy and Security for detailed information and the answers to most of your questions.

You will soon receive a communication from your child's school about a permission form for Google Meet Recordings. Until permission is received, your child will not appear in any recordings and should turn the camera and microphone off when a session is being recorded.
Teachers will be accessing training materials this week and will initially practice the recording procedures during the week of September 8-11.
