FCPS recently completed an update to your FindOutFirst (FOF) account.
This school year, although FCPS now uploads parent email addresses on file with schools to FOF, some parents signed up on their own, creating duplicate FOF accounts. Some parents with more than one student were entered as separate users, also creating duplicate accounts.
We have merged duplicate FOF accounts so there is only one record for you to maintain and so messages are processed more quickly to all recipients.
You may wish to take the following steps to confirm your account details:
1) Go to www.fcps.org/fof
2) Click the Forgotten Username link. In the box that opens, enter your email address. Check your email for a message that contains your remaining FOF username.
3) Once you've retrieved your username, you may click the Forgotten Password link. In the box that opens, enter your username. Check your email for a message with a link for re-setting your password. Each link can be used only once.
4) After re-setting your password, return to the login link to enter your username and password.
Once logged in you may:
*Confirm that your relationships show the correct school(s) and grade level(s) for news you wish to receive
*Add a phone number, carrier and verification code to activate text messages for emergency-closing texts to your phone
*Select your FCPS and school-level news groups of interest (under Subscriptions in the upper left)
*Add a secondary email address to get messages at more than one address, but do NOT change the PRIMARY email address. (Any change in primary email address will be overwritten each night with the address the school has on file in the child's eSchool record.) To change a primary email address, you must provide your preferred address to the school, so school staff can change it in your child's eSchool record. For assistance with any of the above procedures, please email information@fcps.org or support@relatrix.com.
Thank you.
