Celebrate Civility Awareness Week with FCPS Monday-Friday, December 4-8
The purpose of FCPS Civility Awareness Week is to promote a culture of civility in our schools, at home and in our community. Civility is polite, reasonable, and respectful behavior. The week will focus on five themes:
Superintendent Dr. Terry Alban is delighted to announce that FCPS will host a keynote speaker on Tuesday, December 5, from 6-7:30 PM, at the Arc at 555 S. Market Street, Frederick. The speaker will present information from the book Choosing Civility: The Twenty-five Rules of Considerate Conduct by P.M. Forni.

*A school counselor/school administrator-focused event is scheduled for the same place and date but from 4-5:30 PM. School administrators will receive a link separately to register for that session.
