The Annual Membership Meeting will take place on Monday, April 29, at 7 p.m. in the FCCS cafeteria (note: there is no virtual option for attendance). The draft agenda for the meeting should be reviewed by all members.
FCCS parents and guardians have a unique role to play in our community in their roles as members. All parents/guardians are considered members, as do FCCS staff members. At least once a year, a membership meeting is held. The willingness to participate in this meeting is an important step in participating in the Griffin Triangle, which is the backbone of our strong community. To learn about the candidates up for election, please view the Membership Meeting notice or the recorded "Meet the Candidates Forum" (will be posted the website) hosted by the Nominating Committee. If you have questions about the meeting or have never attended and want to learn more, parents are encouraged to reach out to the Board of Trustees or Grade-Level Liaisons.
Finally, proxies are a way to participate in the meeting, if in-person attendance is not possible. Members have the right to ask another member to be their proxy at the meeting. Proxy forms were sent home with scholars on April 11, and posted on the website. Forms are due by noon on Sunday, April 28 [note: the last opportunity to submit through Ms. Tucker (in-person) is the end of school day on Friday, April 26. Email submissions will be accepted until noon on Sunday, April 28].
