Attention Young Ladies!
Come to the Urbana Regional Library this Saturday April 16 from 2-4 p.m. for Prom Prep 2010. This program is so much more than preparing for prom! All middle and high school girls can learn a thing or two about skin care, healthy hair, make-up and hair cut and styling tips. Every one has a party, dance, banquet or other special event to attend wants to look extra special!
The future professionals from the Paul Mitchell Temple School in Frederick are coming out to give one-on-one consults to all who attend. We've got some great prizes for all who attend as well. Moms are welcome as well. Registration for the event can be phoned in to 301 600 7000 or on the FCPL website at www.fcpl.org

Pennies for Peace Update
UMS students raised nearly $500 for Pennies for Peace!! Pennies for Peace is a service-learning organization started by Greg Mortenson to build community-based schools in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
A special thank you goes to Dr. Shahid Rafiq and the Frederick County Muslim Council for matching our amount and allowing UMS to send a $1,000 donation to Pennies for Peace!
